Stop Smoking Today!

$39.95

Online hypnosis is a powerful tool.  In ending your smoking habit you will change a large part of your life.  It’s important that you approach this with commitment and a will to succeed. I work with dozens of people every week to end their smoking habit in direct hypnosis sessions. It generally takes one session. In a small percentage of cases we need to have a second go – but rarely.

At this point you need to commit. If you are not sure, then come back when you are.  I will stop you smoking, but you have to be serious about it. You may choose to use the reduction download I have available, which will wean you down over a period.

Here’s what we have to do:

Just like those clients that come and see me in my office in Vancouver, you are being offered help that will change your life. You however have to work at it too. Here’s the kicker –you need to commit to this process to make it work. That means over the next few weeks you will have to change the way you do a few things.

  1. First, get rid of any ashtrays. Smell is a big trigger for addiction. You will not be needing them, so don’t just put them away. Throw them aware or give them to a smoker friend immediately you are finished with the session.
  2. Clean your clothes that smell of smoke. Again, big trigger.
  3. Clean your car out if you’ve been smoking in your car. This may be a pain, but cancer is a lot more painful. If you are serious, you will follow this advice.

Changing the way you think

You are going to change how you think about what you put in your body. You are also going to start eating a proper breakfast – a high protein breakfast.  This means more than just a slice of toast. You need to stock up on decent breakfast foods. These include organic free range eggs, chicken or turkey sausages and any other high protein foods that you’d like. With all my addiction clients – and I get people off crack, heroin and other drugs – I suggest following breakfast with a high protein drink (this is to supplement breakfast not replace it). I don’t really know why this helps, but those who do it are far more likely to succeed than those who don’t.

What about pills and patches – that sounds like a good idea…

Don’t worry about any pills, gums or patches. The objective is to stop putting junk into your body – don’t make that an opportunity for someone to sell you something you really don’t want or need. Of course you are worried about quitting. Buying pills won’t change that. You will stop, and you’ll be fine.

Because we don’t want to smoke anymore after hypnosis, you want replace the habit with eating. This is the big difference between hypnosis and other mechanisms. You will simply have no desire to smoke. As a result, you’ll have no need to replace it with other behavior.

Cleaning you up

Over the next two weeks we are going to try and get some of the filth you’ve been putting into your body, out of your system.  This is done by stopping you smoking, but also by helping you shed some of the toxins already in your body. A very powerful way to do this is to sweat it out. The best method is in a steam room or sauna. Just going for a walk to sweat doesn’t cut it. You need to drip sweat heavily.  10 minutes in a sauna, making sure you are hydrated before hand (drink plenty of water – not cola!), will prepare you. If you are unable to get in sauna, then hot baths can do it. Don’t make yourself sick by overdoing it.  You need to do the sweat exercise at least twice a week for two weeks.

Getting in to a form of exercise such as swimming twice a week,  or yoga is also highly recommended. Don’t take to cheap and easy way out, and do it in your living room. If you are serious about quitting smoking you will follow this advice. Go out and commit to visit a group session (however uncomfortable you are with this) and attend just for the next couple of weeks. You are then creating a ritual that you go through each time you exercise. The ritual is as important as the exercise. Believe me, it works.

What do you know about smoking anyway?

Some people ask if I was ever a smoker. How did I quit? Even though my mother was in the process of dying of cancer, I did smoke from the age of 14. At 30 I was smoking 30 a day. I was a press photographer in Africa at the time. I also drank heavily.  I contracted Malaria in Mozambique, and my lungs promptly collapsed, followed by my kidneys and liver. Thanks god for South African doctors!

When your lungs collapse you get a new perspective on hurting them with cigarettes. That was 15 years ago, and I have never been remotely tempted to smoke or drink since.
It took my mother 27 years to die of cancer, slowly and painfully.  She died at home with her husband of fifty years. That’s when I started to help others quit smoking, and I’ve been doing so ever since.

Now it’s time to stop smoking.
