Management Skills Class A six session class that helps you remove stress and enjoy a better life. Next course start date is November 27th 2008. As a hypnotherapist I see many clients looking for ways to remove or reduce stress and improve their lives. In many instances these clients require similar disciplines and skills, and simply need to be provided with the tools to achieve them. In this course I offer the most commonly needed skills and therapies across six classes. The result is a course that will benefit anyone who participates - at a fraction of the cost of one-on-one sessions. Rob Hadley
Management Skills Class: 1.Reducing Work Related Stress Too often we allow the stresses of the workplace to wear us down. This damages our home lives, and our performance at work. Far from enjoying our work, we can be left dreading it. We work on techniques for managing workplace stress, and reducing it. Course members can be empowered to cope with stress more effectively, and even reduce it for them and their colleagues, contributing to a more productive work environment. 2.Better Decision making – at home and in the workplace Imagine a situation where you stop waiting for opportunity, and start creating it. Course members are introduced to techniques that encourage proactive action, rather than reactive action. Our members learn to retake control of their decision making. 3. Managing relationships These days our lives are made up of a series of relationships. From our business relationships, to family and social relationships. Members are given skills to develop those relationships in a productive and rewarding manner. 4. Dealing with confrontation Confrontation at home, adversarial relationships in the work environment; these days we’d better be prepared to cope with confrontation, unless we want to be oppressed by it. Members are given the tools to defuse confrontation and re engage protagonists in a productive and positive way. 5. Coping with and beating anxiety Anxiety manifests itself in many different ways. Learning to overcome it, and releasing anxiety experienced in the past, makes us better able to manage our lives today. Whether it's anxiety about speaking in a group, or simply voicing ideas one on one, you'll develop tools to cope with anxiety. 6. Goal setting – goal achieving Knowing where we want to go and what we want to achieve at a personal and professional level is the first part of attaining it. Staying focused on the target, even when everyone else is distracted, is a skill you need.
Who this course is for: Cost: $375
Time: Courses start at 6.30 pm on Thursdays at 400, 601 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC and are held once a week over a six week period, with the exclusion of holidays. Each session lasts one hour and thirty minutes. Enquire for the next course start date. Courses are limited to a maximum of twelve participants. The next course starts on Novemeber 27th at 6.30 pm.
