Practical Hypnosis Course

The Practical Hypnosis Course makes up one of the three courses required to practice as a hypnotherapist. The course teaches you the fundament aspects of hypnotherapy. This course introduces you to the practical side of putting a subject into hypnosis, and then using trance.

You will learn how to:

1. Use self hypnosis
2. Put a client into trance.
3. Deepen the client, until they are receptive to suggestion.
4. Use suggestion to influence the behaviour of a subject.
5. Use post hypnotic suggestion.
6. Manage situations that may develop while a client is in a state of trance.
7. Develop self hypnosis skills.
8. Identify which subjects are most likely to go quickly into trance, and which will require a different approach.
9. Exit a client out of trance and leave them happier and healthier for the experience.

The course is delivered in three weekend sessions. We meet at 10.30 AM until 6 pm, with a one hour break for lunch on both Saturday and Sunday. Generally classes sizes are about six or eight individuals, though we can go up to twelve.

The objective of this course is to give you a thorough grounding in practical hypnosis. Those planning to go on to become a practitioner should also study the Theory of Hypnosis Course, and the Clinical Hypnosis Course.

Not every applicant is invited to participate in this course. We expect the candidates to be non smokers, and to have a reasonable degree of physical fitness.

The cost of the course is $995.00 plus HST
